The hard drive is what is in your computer. If we save our files to this, it cannot be lost. Also, when we open final cut, it can automatically find our files.

Logging and capturing is referring to video footage once it is ready to be edited.
4. What does importing refer to?
Importing refers to uploading your footage into a program.
5. What are the scratch disks in Final Cut pro?
A scratch disk is where you choose to save your video and audio for your film.
6. What is the sequence or timeline?
The sequence or timeline is the linear manner that your footage will play in.

Fisheye, Insect eye, Noise, sepia, invert.

Director is in charge of the set; they control everything that is going on and are responsible for the film script and idea.
An actor is responsible for visually illustrating what the director has designed for a film.
The lighting director is in charge of the lighting, they will make sure that the film is looking the way it is supposed to and the lighting in each shot is controlled.

Mise en Scene refers to the all the different aspects of film coming together to create a script through visual language. Acting, lighting, setting and props all genre specific.

Cinematography is the making of light and captured footage to create a film.

Preproduction paper work refers to the storyboards, plans, organisation and script.

You have to complete a risk assessment form.

There are some risks including: cords to trip over, furniture in the way and filming equipment in the way.

The person responsible for making the work place safe is everyone involved in the crew.
